Skorch - Kettle Ft LZ // Bathtub

Staffordshire-based Drum & Bass DJ and producer Skorch returns to CK Records on 11 June 2026 with a two-track Jump Up release featuring 'Kettle' ft. LZ and 'Bathtub'.

Known for his heavyweight Jump Up productions and energetic approach to Drum & Bass, Skorch has spent the last 14 years DJing and the last 6 years developing his sound in the studio. Having accumulated over 400,000 streams across major platforms, he continues to build a reputation for producing straightforward, dancefloor-focused music. Alongside his solo work, he is also a co-founder of Birmingham-based Drum & Bass brand Duck DnB.

The lead track, 'Kettle', sees Skorch team up with LZ for a collaboration that takes inspiration from the classic Jump Up sound. With influences that can be traced back to artists such as TC and Logan D, the track combines rolling basslines with LZ's vocal performance to create a summer-ready Jump Up roller.

The second track, 'Bathtub', continues the high-energy approach that has become a feature of Skorch's productions. Built around a playful concept and heavy bassline-driven production, it provides a strong follow-up to the release's opening track while maintaining the same dancefloor-focused attitude.

Speaking about the release, Skorch said:

“Working together with LZ was a really fun few days working with the lyrics and patterns to the track and Bathtub was literally just so fun to create.”

The release comes via CK Records, the independent label founded by DJ Komatose and Captain Apathy. The label focuses on independent Drum & Bass releases with an emphasis on sound system performance, clarity and club-ready energy.
