CK Clash VOL001

CK Records have officially dropped CK Clash VOL001, the debut instalment of their new monthly mix series curated by founders DJ Komatose and Captain Apathy, delivering a high-energy snapshot of the current Drum & Bass landscape.

Built around a simple but exciting format, each curator selects 10 tracks which are then shuffled into a final playlist, creating a mix where the flow is shaped by chance. The result is a listening experience that captures the spontaneity of DJ culture while showcasing the selectors’ individual tastes.

Standout Names Across the Mix

CK Clash VOL001 pulls together a strong cross-section of artists from across the scene, blending dancefloor energy with deeper underground sounds. Highlights include Belgian Drum & Bass figure Netsky, whose melodic influence continues to resonate globally, alongside the gritty jump-up energy of Mozey.

The mix also features contributions from respected UK collective The Sauce, known for their rolling minimal style, as well as technical selections from Wingz. Meanwhile, Crucast mainstay Majistrate brings heavyweight dancefloor pressure, reinforcing the mix’s broad sonic palette.

By combining established names with emerging producers, CK Clash VOL001 reflects the diversity and evolution of modern Drum & Bass. Moving between rollers, jump-up, and deeper cuts with unpredictable transitions driven by the shuffled format.
