Our Story

CK Records is a brand new Record Label specialising in Drum & Bass.

At the heart of Birmingham’s underground scene, DJ Komatose and Captain Apathy are driven by a shared passion for Drum and Bass. With years of experience in production, live performance, event management and content creation, their journey took a major turn in 2024.

After suddenly losing access to the studio where they created live content, the duo faced a turning point. What began as a setback quickly transformed into a vision: to launch a record label.

That vision became CK Records, a drum n bass record label designed not only to release cutting-edge DnB, but to reshape how independent music is made, shared, and rewarded.

We’re not here to be just another record label from the Midlands.

We’re here to be THE Drum and Bass label from Birmingham—a home for producers who want more:
